Hitler had an interesting way of dealing with such corruption: he paid politicians a 20% bonus as compensation for outlawing their ownership of any stocks or receiving valuable "gifts" from anyone, including family members. Politicians were legally barred from giving insider trading advice to their friends and family also and they were watched very closely.
I mean, everyone was watched very closely.
This was months after the Jewish leaders of the world attended the World Conference of Jews in Amsterdam in July 1933 and decided to declare a Holy War against Germany and was famously and publicly announced by radio broadcast by Samuel Untermyer when he returned to America after hosting the World Conference of Jews.
Yes, the Germans didn't trust the Jews after their failed communist coup attempt of 1933 and their declaration of a Holy War that same year.
The Germans were funny like that.
And no, nothing I said is controversial or disputed by any historian. It was literally broadcast to millions of people and published in the headlines of millions of newspapers all over the western world.
You can be triggered by it, down-vote it, report it, attack me over it even though I wasn't even born yet or have a conniption fit... but it still happened.
And yet people who did none of this shit were watched equally closely.
Your existence as a human being is always a threat to the totalitarian state. It doesn’t matter what you do or don’t do, say or don’t say. It doesn’t care that you get extremely defensive and angry when other people make factually true statements about other totalitarian regimes, although it will use that fact to cancel you or make you disappear if it’s convenient. The State’s minions don’t really need an excuse.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
