Looking it up a Chris craft commander 42 isn't all that expensive of a yacht as far as a yacht goes. I seen Denzel Washington's yacht in Mexico once. That looked like an expensive yacht. I figured child trafficking would be more profitable than what Denzel does.
Article says it's a Chris Craft Commander 44. The 2018 model retailed for ~$900,000, so definitely not something somebody with a supposed net worth of $1M should own, especially once you factor in the multiple million dollar homes and the fact he's rarely around to enjoy it based on his Twitter accounts of late night donut runs.
Even as an executive producer, and assuming he made a bit more than the top end estimate, so ~$200,000 with tenure factored in, he'd have been hard pressed to own all of those assets legitimately.
Granted a used Chris Craft from the 1960s-1980s is about a year's wages for the guy, so if that's what he owns, it's still sketchy based on the multiple multi-million dollar homes he owns.
There’s no fucking way that guy floats those mortgages and the cost of that boat plus whatever else on only 200k a year. That’s not a lot of money. That 3 story mansion is in fucking Connecticut, where all the Wall Street jews live.
Maybe family money, could be plenty of reasons. He is living beyond that salary significantly.
Apparently they are. I always remembered them as those nice all wooden lake boats with motors from the 50s. Fully restored those ones are worth some decent change.

Here's some screenshots of a similar boat-

I make around what is assumed for this range, and I don't have multiple multi-million dollar homes, not a boat. So this dude is sketch.

This type of activity is what you'd think the IRS would be investigating. He probably writes Democrat on his tax returns so they ignore it
Please don't think I'm standing up for the dude. I make a little less than that and could barely afford a 1987 21' Bayliner.
I don't think you are. I am simply presenting my own research and relating it to OP's question.
I was just getting ready to edit my post and say thank you for the info!
Oh, Wow. From what I can tell, Not terribly expensive.
Is Chris Craft still even made? They were older wooden boats from same time as Uniflite which my dad worked for.
Yea, and a 42 runs about 1.5 MM, so not pocket change by any means
