Watching kids in their early 20s realize why all their friends over 30 aren't Democrats is pretty great 🤣🤣🤣

How about this-stream line higher education. Why do you need electives like basket weaving, physical education, gender studies? You are going into premed? I can see a year of English because so many kids are deficient in spelling, sentence formation, complete sentences, etc. upon high school graduation. But then courses on anatomy and physiology, microbiology, nutrition and diets, herbals and pharmacology. Do away with fluff courses. More emphasis on medications and alternatives-benefits, side effects, and contraindications. Medical school should deal more with in depth treatments and procedures. Medical Centers today view the residency program not so much as a learning process, but as workers. Residents should not substitute bonafide doctors because real learning isn’t taking place by residents working with little one on one supervision. The months of a July-September are NOT the times to be in the hospital or have surgery done. That is when new residents come on board and are being trained by 2nd-4th year residents.
Agree.... most of these classes really do not expose anyone to much, despite the claims that the classes "broaden" perspective.
Many are nothing short of indoctrination.
Master of Science - Psychology Degree holder speaking.
I would have rather spent those dollars on higher level classes or additional classes in my degree.
Whereas it is true that I can learn & research outside of college, the certification & license process does not care about self study...
I disagree, a little. Some exposure to the world outside your specialty bubble helps keep perspective, in fact it can be a major culture revelation. How that is managed could be done better.
