Sadly when you consider it in terms of $Trillion dollar companies like Phiser and Merk...
Not only are the Sackler's "Small" Phrama (they did realistically only make 1 line of products) they are also competition.
So while this looks like a win for public justice, and it actually is, its ALSO a HUGE win for The Clot Shot designers and pushers because one of their biggest small competitors is being removed from the field pushing them that much closer to a monopoly on health.
The thing is, outside of military intervention, Phizer is invincible to the wheels of justice because the company is clearly more powerful than the US federal government, given they were one of the key players behind Trump's ejection from power.
Our son, B, went through a rough time after going to help his grandfather through his final illness. Changed his diaper, tube fed, etc. When he got back home, he was very depressed. A "friend" offered him a hit of oxycontin to "help". Now, E. should never have accepted that pill but he did. Led him (and us) on an almost decade roller coaster. Needless to say, he lost his business. B went through $300,000 on oxy and then when his money ran out, he turned to heroin. It was horrible. He ended up getting arrested but that saved his life and he says that. He's been sober now for almost 3 years. B told us that the 1st hit of oxy caused his addiction. Think of all the people who have been prescribed this poison.
Worse all the people that needed it and got the script cancled for the "war on drugs" and ended up destroying there lives and dying because they turned to heroin to stop the pain
That link only has a photo. Scroll down here for the actual story.

The Sackler’s should be sued into oblivion, everything confiscated and never allowed to be involved in or invest in the pharmaceutical industry again.
