I don’t really miss what I chose to avoid during this prayers time. I actually even got a taste for herbal tea and fish I wasn’t used to eating: cod liver, haddock…
Watching the world fearing its own collapse is like more like viewing a disaster movie through a tv screen than actually witnessing a crisis. I feel compassion for those who lose however bigly during these testing times. I feel the Godly lights about to shine upon us soon.
Deep inside, make Christmas the true birth of our Savior!
Whoever missed the beginning of this Advent, there’s no bad time to start, you can decide that as of today, you want to renounce what you otherwise don’t mind indulging and focus instead of what may enhance your Faith. Even for a day, it still counts if you do it for the right reason.
That’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Dear Mary!🙏🏻
Dear Mary,
I was not really thick before the Advent so I have neither lost nor gained weight. The keto diet I have been following since July 2013 helps a lot in this matter. I am somehow recluse in Burgundy for the next month which is okay as I understood there might be some difficulties for an unvaxxed like me going on at the same time. I have enough to do… remote work, music, pruning the fruit trees, doing some winter tidying, learning new recipes… viewing all the cheap movies I acquired in the last months (I am in the Hobbit/LOtR hexalogy atm, the Hobbit is much better than I feared)…
It’s the time of the year when it is the most important to share love with the people that count to us, but also with those who, unbeknownst to most, actually desserve it. Think of Mary and Josef: had they had people to share people with them, Jesus would have been born in a proper home.
So, our mission for the weeks to come: find out about those who desserve to be encouraged and thanked for any significant effort of theirs… and let them know about our appreciation.🙏🏻
I will be praying not for you to achieve what you plan to (you will sure make it), but for God to make this journey of yours a merry one.🙏🏻
I understand she is giving you a hard time, but also that you love her very much so, pardon my smirking when you mention little Ninky. That dear kid reminds me of my deaf cat: the one that won’t hear reproaches and hold on her crusade against the gravity.
Cod liver is amazing for you! And tea! Well done.
