My daughter’s (2nd grade) classmate tested positive. She sits at his lunch table. They made her and the other students at the table stay home pending a neg test on x date, after 2 days of still going to school after the “exposure”. However, they didn’t make her two sisters, who are in 3rd grade stay home, which is hilarious to me… What I need help with, is info. When I approach the school about this, I need informational ammo. Reputable studies about asymptomatic spread being false, masks not working, pcr false positives. If anyone can please link some in the comments, it would be very helpful. Thanks

UPDATE: Here is the letter i'm sending to the school, the board of health, and the mayor of my town...
To whom it may concern,
All of that said… This situation with my daughter has caused myself and my family some distress and I can no longer go along and just blindly comply without voicing my opinion as a parent, and tax payer in this town. I have several questions regarding this situation, that I need you to help me understand.
For one, I’d like to know why these students specifically, are being discriminated against? In the case of my own daughter, she is not sick, is showing no symptoms and has also tested NEGATIVE (for a 3rd time this week with 2 home tests and a rapid test at the pharmacy) as of today (12-20-21). Why is she being made to stay home in the first place given she is clearly not sick? If you believe in your protocols, there should be no issues here and she should be returning to school promptly tomorrow, along with the other kids. They should have never been made to leave. As citizens of this country, they have the RIGHT to attend school and get an education. I’ll remind you, that the CDC, the WHO and FDA, OSHA etc, are not law making, elected bodies of government. Their recommendations are just that… recommendations. Additionally, the school’s understandable need to limit liability, along with these recommendations/mandates, do not supersede a person’s constitutional rights and civil liberties. None of these have gone through the legislative process to become laws and are therefore unenforceable in many respects. You are a public institution, and are bound by the law. To make a child stay home from school with zero evidence of sickness, is a violation of my daughter and families’ (and all others’) rights. It’s bad enough that they are being forced to wear a mask, despite the evidence that masks are by and large, very ineffective in this type of application, unless they are a specific type, which most people don’t have access to, yet the kids are still forced to wear them.
With all due respect, I demand these children be allowed to return to school immediately. I also request that ALL school covid related protocols be revised immediately at all levels within this municipality, through the lens of protecting civil liberties, adhering to the rights guaranteed to us by the constitution and bill of rights. Your jobs as school and government officials within the framework set forth in these documents, is less about mitigating liabilities, and more about education, and protecting the rights of the individuals in the municipality and school district. I respectfully ask you to refrain from engaging in activities that deny my children, or any other children from their right to an education. Sending home a packet and a zoom call doesn’t cut it. That’s not the agreement of how my tax dollars are used in this school system. My family went along with the home schooling in the beginning because not enough was known about this. Then when returning to school, we went along with the masks even though we didn’t agree. However, this has been a step too far, and I will no longer remain a bystander who watches my child suffer any more because of the arbitrary “rules” of unelected officials that are designed to protect liability vs. protecting rights. I will now voice my opinion, and let it be known that it is wrong, and it is unacceptable. Rest assured that while they may remain quiet, there are hundreds of millions of parents all over the state and country who feel the same way. You would have the support of all of them if you stand up for what’s right, and do the right thing. You have to set the example. Please do the right thing. Protect our children in a real way. Protect their rights. Let the parents and their doctors protect their health.
Attached is my daughter’s neg test.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response, and getting my child back in school.
