Well cuz some lot numbers have been found to be saline. Lot numbers have been found to be different sized doses. Some pedes like to track these types of things
Chances are they are giving placebos to certain areas because they don't want everyone to get tainted

The question has been posed here and elsewhere what vax would you take and why, if there was literally no other choice. I'd go for the batch with the least deaths every time. It may be just as deadly in the long term (or even more so), but at least there are tangible and measured benefits from some lots VS others in the short term that we have data on.
