FYI.... there is a State of California mandate for students that goes into effect next school year (I think... the timelines are different for different age groups, so the 16+ may start this school year, but the younger ones are definitely not mandated until next school year). San Diego Unified School District was trying to push the mandate to start in January, exceeding the State's timeline.
