Just one of many things I wonder about? Anyone else?

It's not just pharma, but the the whole market. The thing is, I'm just not sure.
For the last several decades the elite have been playing this game where they pump up a bubble, get everybody to buy in, get the fed to raise rates to pop the bubble, and then buy back their same assets for pennies on the dollar.
But, if the fed raises rates this time, it will likely bankrupt the federal government, and likely won't stop inflation because all the debt in the economy acts like pressure propping up the value of the dollar. If you raise rates, and the economy tanks, and too many people go bankrupt, then all that pressure to use the US dollar goes away, causing immediate and massive inflation.
That's why, even though the fed is talking tough, I don't think they have the balls to do it, and if they do, they will go back to zero and print up money the very second anything starts to tank.
