You only need a trace amount to maintain your systems. Too much is toxic.

The bulk of doctors and science itself says that iodine is poisonous in doses more than trace amounts, but you believe Dr. Joe Blow's medicine show.
I've never needed any iodine. I get what I need from salt and the occasional fish.
If you eat a proper diet, you don't need most supplements. Get outdoors enough, and you don't even need the Vitamin D that everyone's pushing.
