It's about personal choice. I don't care who gets the vaccine and talks about it. Trump cam do what he wants with his body. I just don't want people telling me what I am required to do with mine. Get a vaccine of you want, don't get one of you don't want. It's a personal choice. I've been thinking that I might actually get one if I think it's right for me. I'm over 50 and it might be good to have protection but I'm not totally convinced that I need one at this point.
I worked in health care for years in the military so I'm kinda familiar with vaccines in general. I have taken many vaccines but I'm not getting in line to take the vaccine right away. I haven't even taken the flu shot this year because I've heard so many stories of the coof vaccine being administered instead.
You are a good person. 3 sons served, 1 still in. I'd never take another vax again after what I've witnessed these past 3 years. (I would never even take a flu shot again. Only did that for 2 years as was afraid of 'accidentally killing' my husband who was in poor health before he passed 2 years ago.) Bless you friend. May your life have only ups, as for sure, our people having served already sacrificed so much. Something most civilians dont really appreciate. ;)
While I really do appreciate your kind words, I just try to be a better person every day but I fail most days. I didn't bring up military service as a way to get appreciation. I brought it up to discuss experience. I'm not any better than anyone else or even a good person because of the Military though I do admit that it really did change my life in a positive way. Once again, I really appreciate your kind words and thank you for the service in your family. I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. I would still take the flu shot of not for the bs happening in the medical community. I am not anti vax because there are many that really do work well. The polio vaccine changed the world.

I'm over 60. I wouldn't ever trust vax again. I'm in healthcare.
