We are all hurting in every way right now. Everything costs so much, just putting gas in the car, if you have one, is painful. You are not alone. We are all feeling this squeeze right now. You did everything you could. You kept the lights on, you paid the rent. You worked your ass off.
This will be a christmas to remember, not because presents were abundant, but because you fought through it, and provided what you could. It's more than enough. If you are alone this Christmas, you are sadly mistaken. You have all of us here. Just speak out, we are family.
It's only a "dark winter" if we make it so.
I think this is a very nice sentiment, and it helps to remind people that they are not alone, And know this is gonna be a great Christmas.
Personally… I’m not really hurting. Yeah gas cost more, and so does food… But overall - i’m having a great holiday season.
The reason I’m having a happy time this year, is because despite all the bad things going on in our world, I am grounded in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Two years ago I gave my life back to Christ, it’s been a rough road, but I put the work in and it is now paying off. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with my family in Hawaii to be discipled, and get through some long time hurts - and sent letters of forgiveness to those who had hurt me very deeply.
I have a great Bible believing non-denominational church that I go to, I try to read my Bible every day, and I listen to an audible devotional.
I’m not trying to minimalize others pain and suffering, but I wanted to tell a story of positivity. Having a relationship with Jesus Christ, really does help with the doom, and the gloom.
He has already won the war, and it is so true… No one can stop what is coming! Jesus IS Coming!
Merry Christmas to all my FRENS! 🐸
I’m not necessarily “great” but I’m definitely better than I’ve ever been; mentally, emotionally and physically. I got myself a nice job at Lowes and I enjoy it fairly well to be honest. Love my co workers. I finally have a game plan and I’m earning enough to move out in a year when I’m 20.5 years old.
Thanks for the positivity fren 🐸
