I tried to come at her with this angle at the beginning of Covid but my CNN/Hospital brainwashed wife had a meltdown, like I was wanting to wipe out the world on my own. And like me she remembers the Chicken-Pox parties but Covid OMG NOOOOOOO! We’re gonnnaaaa dieeeee! Just stupid.
We had Covid gatherings every Sunday at our house during 2020 when our church was shutdown for about 3 months 😉. Families/kids probably averaged 30-40 folks each week. We really got to know some great people from church that we normally just waved to and said ‘Hi’ every week.
That's great. I love it! We did the same. Only 2 families at most came over at a time. People need that Christian fellowship! Ended up having to leave that church (that I was even a deacon at) because of their damned mask policy.
As Christians we refused to live in fear and buy into their propaganda. Yes we understood the risks and certainly asked some of the older folks to make sure they understood their own risks but as a whole, everyone just felt that the fellowship was more important than the risks.
