Me too. It was Spring of 1974, I remember my mom telling me to suck on my cousins popsicle sticks at a “popsicle party”. I was grossed out but she insisted it was best.
While walking home on the very last day of school I noticed the first itchy spots on my belly and told my mom I was hot and didn’t feel good. She lifted up my shirt and cheered with delight.
