The tide has turned and I have noticed that I am usually the only un-masked in Home Depot or Alberton's here in sunny La Mirada California - about 15 miles east of Los Angeles.
Most times I there are few interactions with normies and the check out people never say anything regarding the posted mask requirement.
But, three times in the last week I have been confronted by customer normies.
Next time I want to be better prepared with a rational response.
Here is what happened:
1st - While pushing his cart passed me, a masked normy mumbled "jeez - put a mask on". I ignored him.
2nd - Standing in line, a double masked normy grunted under his mask when he spotted my naked face. He than turned around and told me to distance, since I was mask-less. I said that there is no distance requirement and that I don't wear face masks. I held my ground and he paid and left. I saw him commiserating with other masked normies in the parking lot as I walked past him to my car.
3rd - An masked, obese unhealthy, 60+ year old man in line told me that if his arm was not broken he would kick my ass - fyi I am 60. I told him to get a life and I held my ground. He continued complaining to me and the check out girl until he paid and left. I stayed silent. The check out girl had nothing but kind words for me after he left.
Next confrontation I am going to be prepared with something like this:
"I cannot wear a mask safely. I have a medical exemption, I am suffering from pragmatism, common sense, and the love of liberty."
Thoughts?
I had no reason to get tested 2nd time as I needed it for "proof" to get the free 40 hour vacation first time around and the 2nd time didn't get that offer.
I probably just had the flu the 2nd time if I had to guess and be technical/correct, however I still tell normies I had it twice to jog the noggin'
That probably doesn't help tbh. My first thought reading that was "If your immunity is so good how did you get it twice?" If you think you only got it once I'd just say you got it once.
I seem to recall reading that you have about a 7% chance of being infected a second time but the symptoms would be milder. Normally, your B memory cells will produce antibodies at the first sign of infection but sometimes it's not quick enough to stop the virus before it replicates.
10-4, after further review it is best to not say anything false as it can be used to discredit everything else. Telling normies I got it already (once) will be my marching orders going forward.
Thanks to this community for always being great.
