Bullshit! She got what she deserved and had NO BUSINESS being a cop!! I don't care how much of a scumbag the perp was .... she readily admits she pulled her firearm thinking it was her taser! ANY cop who makes such a STUPID mistake deserves to be hung out to dry.
When you put on a badge and strap on a firearm you take on huge responsibilities. She FAILED to the max.
Easy to make such statements from behind your computer screen - and no, I'm not a cop or in law enforcement & couldn't imagine having to make split-second decisions that when a mistake happens lands you in jail.

Yeah, I somewhat have that inkling myself. Having never been in such a situation myself, I can't imagine what all is going on in one's mind at such a time, but that's one hell of a mistake to make.
