Frens…. I have limited friends due to my positions on where I think we are in this movie - still so many people still in the ‘Matrix’. - I choose to isolate even though I am naturally social - this has been a tough adjustment for me … Ya see I have trouble being around people who spew disinformation about a virus that is no more dangerous than the common cold… and As if on que (no pun) my cousin decided to cancel Xmas this year because the media instilled fear and panic to the point of paralysis… I am so sick of stupid people! We haven’t had a family gathering in 2 fucking years!
When does this fucking END??
Try facing your babies on Christmas and trying to answer why there's no presents under the tree because mommy lost her job and wont get to start her new one til the 10th, daddys check is majorly gone before even hitting the bank, and the rest barely covers groceries and gas. We have no tree, no presents, no stocking. Theyre already heartbroken after losing our house last month and couldnt afford anything more than a camper. I've never seen my husband so depressed. Believe when I say we teach our children the true meaning of Christmas but anyone with kids already knows how heartbreaking this is...
If you are eligible for food stamps, it sounds like they may help your family.
Remember, health and a loving family are priceless and most important. God bless and Merry Christmas. Hopefully things improve soon. ❤️
It's super late at this point but if you're members of a Church, let the elders know what's going on and see if they can help you get through (and maybe they can help Santa visit at least)
If you're not members of a Church, call around anyway. And then become members of a church.
So sorry to hear that fren. How heartbreaking.

I don't know if his Christmas program is still active. He was "matchmaking" between families who had something to give, and families who were in need. It's worth a try. God bless you. Praying the Lord will re-arrange your housing.
PS Do what you CAN do: Read Bible passages together, sing hymns, make homemade decorations, etc. My mother grew up in the depression and no one had money for Christmas. So their tradition was to write Christmas letters to open and read together. In Japan, their Christmas meal is fried chicken and side dishes. If they can't have fried chicken, they make chicken rice, which is like Spanish rice with a bit of chicken in it. If you can get or make paper squares, you can fold origami decorations. If your town has street or house decorations, you can go for a walk to view Christmas lights. It's not too late to think creatively of no cost, low cost Christmas ideas to make the weekend special. Since you won't be getting a second paycheck for awhile, find out if your area has a food bank to help out until then. I pray God send you comfort and a human angel to bring you joy.
