I went to the church this evening that I attended about 12 years ago when my children were little. Instead of the traditional pagent remembering our Savior’s birth, there were readings by family members and paper mache figures of the characters that the children would have played “pre-pandemic”. That wasn’t the worst part though. There was a special prayer insert that asked Jesus to be in our hearts although we recognized His presence in the sacraments, but could not partake this year due to the new variant. In other words, we skipped over half of the planned service due to fear!? Of course, with masks, and every third pew was roped off for distancing. The bulletins had already been printed, so this was obviously a late decision. If Jesus walked in the sanctuary tonight, do you think he would be okay with that? The fruit of the Spirit is NOT fear.. Get behind us Satan and let our King reign forever!

You went to the wrong place fren. I was at a "no fear" service and it was joyful. They aren't all the same. Keep looking, there are places Jesus makes Himself at home at.
Same here. Totally uplifting and glorifying worship.
I live in a blue state, in one of those blue counties (on the election maps that are mostly red), and our Christmas Eve service was beautiful, holy, no masks, no social distancing, cookies and coffee (not wrapped in cellophane). It was awesome. But I used to go to a church that did none of that and lives in fear (although they don’t think of it as fear.). So, keep looking. Pray and ask the Lord to help you find a family to be a part of. It is super important, especially as we go into tough times.
We had a normal service in NM tonight with comunion.
Find another church, Fren,.
Jesus never entered a church.
Let that sink in.
He went to synagogue.
