You could have a cellphone - just with limits.

get a dumb-phone (or dumb your phone down) I mean getting rid of internet, social media, bluetooth, wifi, etc.
use a faraday bag when it is not in use.

Stop treating your phone as a computer. That makes it a lot easier. I have a laptop - so emails.searches/etc happen there.

Treat it as a phone only. Texts, calls, calendar, period.

I did go an extra step and got a phone with a removable battery.
