I thought M4 was absolutely brilliant. After the holidays I will sit down and write a proper analysis of the film. It is filled to the brim with comms pertinent to the Great Awakening movement.
Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was too tongue-in-cheek and parts were flat. Don't know if it was the writing, directing or editing. I will grant that the project was a tall order to fill. It beats the woke star wars episodes at least.
I also thought the action was boring and flat too
This movie disappointed me. I love Keanu Reeves and his character, so I was really excited to go see the latest Matrix installment, especially since the previews looked so awesome.
For me, the trailer was better than the movie. The film just seemed like a re-hash in a way. I was hoping they'd go deeper down the rabbit hole or maybe even go down a NEW/different rabbit hole in this movie, but nope - neither one.
Overall, it was entertaining and full of 'eye candy' - but it didn't have much in the way of a new message/theme or new 'reveals' in it, IMO.
It was not as bad as I expected. Except some parts.
