I’m so sorry you lost a patient. My husband is a nurse whose floor was turned into a Covid unit. He’s seen how blown out of proportion things are but he’s also lost patients. It’s hard.

Do you mind me asking, how did you know that your patient had delta vs omicron? I still wonder how people know what variant it is when they test positive. Are they actually looking at that info? Are there different tests that are run to determine variant? I haven’t looked into this question much yet…
