These poor children. I can't take it. They already had a tough life. They are probably doing the same thing with these kids as they do with the ones coming through the border. Sick freaks.
the article does not say what the poster is alleging. it's bad enough what has actually happened to these children. not sure why the need to call it kidnapping or human trafficking.
Some children also had their names and birth dates recorded incorrectly on the official documents issued to them as they were evacuated from Afghanistan – making it even more difficult for officials to reunite them with their parents and family members.
yes, and it goes on to say- "According to numbers from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement obtained by the outlet, 1,450 children have been brought to the US without their parents or guardians. Many were released to live with sponsors, such as family members they traveled with or relatives already in the US." It does point out that hundreds have not been reunited yet.
it isn't that straight forward. some of the family members killed (if indeed we even know what happened during and after the withdrawal)might be considered traitors and some may be considered infidels. i don't agree with how they have handled things either. i appreciated the article. thank you for posting it. we have a difference of opinion on what it means to editorialize but i understand the emotional triggers that occur when it involves the suffering of children.
