I’ve been taking HCQ (aka Plaquenil) for a couple of years, after being diagnosed with lupus - 200mcg/day. Added C, D3, and Zinc to the mix. So far, so good! One note of caution to anyone using HCQ on a long term basis (more than a year). It can cause irreversible eye damage. I think it’s a pretty low risk, but it is something I have to have my ophthalmologist check for every year.
Edited to add: The rest of my family takes Quercetin in place of HCQ. 🙂
