I have no doubt there is a plan b, c, d, e, f, g and h. There is also literally no evidence that Trump and plan A are in peril. Things are playing out much slower than we anticipated but they are playing out just the same. It would be foolish beyond belief to abandon General Trump in the middle of the war while we have the enemy on the ropes.
