Bless your heart and am praying for your wifes' recovery. It seems I have had this same thing since December 22 and have fought it tooth and nail. I have NOT and will NOT go to the doctor. I have taken cold and flu formula's, drank all juice and lots of water, honey, aspirin and am now taking MUCINEX which is helping alot to loosen this stuff up. Like your wife, I have only made it to the sofa. Lots of going to bathroom, diarrhea, urinating, sick at stomach, weakness, cold chills, aching bones, popping ears, hot flashes, tiredness , and the thought of food turns my stomach. Mouth stays constantly DRY. I wouldn't wish this stuff on anybody, but if it's Covid, then WE BOTH should deserve the natural immunity to it. Go out and buy a bottle of either liquid or caplets of Mucinex. It will loosen that stuff up and finally she won't be coughing her head off. Give her lots of broth like everyone on here says, along with juice and water and anything light she may want to eat. God bless her and I pray it all works out for her. I'm praying that tomorrow I will feel much better myself.
