In essence Buffet is arguing that any problems at the subsidiary his company owns. Is ultimately the responsibility of the Subsidiaries executives. And he and his company Berkshire Hathaway ultimately chooses not to interfere in such things.
Which is a fair argument.
Generally though. Such subsidiary companies rarely make a move especially ones that could potentially backfire like this without consulting their Parent Companies. So odds are good Buffet is deliberately trying to minimize and obscure his role in the situation.
As for Bernie it appears he’s doing the out of touch old socialist thing for Political Capital again.
He’s involved or he wouldn’t comment on it. Typical limousine liberal. You gotta pay while they shit on you. I guarantee ole Warren squeezes every Quarter so tight you can hear the eagle scream. He’s an asshole.
