Let's celebrate 2021! What was your most defiant moment of the year? When did you stand up to tyranny? (reply in the comments)
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Emailing the school board and the doctor advising them who I know personally, demanding evidence of the efficacy of masks in stopping a virus.
Unfortunately, nothing has come of my email(s), but I put muself out there as a small business leader of my city and attempted to stand up for the children.
I spent an hour on the phone with an attorney attempting to sue the school system over this. The attorney truly sympathized but did not see a path to victory.
I am thinking I need to pursue this further in 2022!
Put in my letter of resignation for job of 10 years. Wouldn’t submit to injection and went out and got freelance work. Within an hour of emailing resignation letter, my boss called and said they were as of now exempting me and asked me to reconsider. I’m still there so far—so I guess I’m not so heroic. But the bottom line is I won’t get injected and will share my research with anyone who asks. Got into some confrontations with family- not immediate family, but sister, aunt, in laws, etc. Painful situations for peace-loving live-and-let-live me. Some people won’t leave you the f*** alone when you clearly state you draw the line at free access to breathing the f******g air.
GAW has been very helpful in my information gathering process. I want to do more now - letter writing campaigns perhaps.
This is why I posted. I want to hear all the stories. We are all battling in the real world. We can use this space to encourage and comfort our brothers ans sisters. Great job! You stood up and you won, you should be proud.
Not much, but I helped my husband, and a handful of coworkers (in a company of over one hundred, only five resisted), by finding all the exemptions online that I could. So far they are all still employed there, but don't care if they get fired. The company is currently dancing around the issue by "delaying" their decision. This has been going on since November 1, which was the drop dead date. Oh yeah, forgot this (just read a post below that reminded me). My husband and I are paying for our grandchildren's Christian school.
