Doesnt demoralize a moral person though. I smile at the thought that the people are fleeing from Sodom and Gomorrah before the pillar of fire rains down. My only hope is that the evil remains behind is destroyed by Gods wrath.

Imo, that's exactly what they're doing. It's how evil operates. Evil feeds on misery. When they inflict pain on others, it makes them feel better. They feed off of it. Temporarily. Like any addiction, they always need more.

Love and Light exposes their dark and empty selves. And they hate that because it also exposes their weakness and vulnerabilities. To regain that false sense of power, they inflict as much misery as possible to get the desired reaction. It's all about power and control.
