It would "seem" the easy way out of her sentence and future court cases she may be linked to with elites and their dirty little secrets.

She has a lawyer. It's not like she is forced to stay in the dark just because she's locked up. If she can't trust that dude to get her 'actual information' from her corrupt network of operators then that's hella weird.
