IMO, the thing that has allowed Twitter to thrive in a way the others haven't is that one has never had to be signed up on Twitter in order to view posts, and all the others limit their viewership and reposting to subscribers. I've never understood the value of that, as I'd think you'd want the broadest market possible, and I also think it's impeded their growth. On the flip side, Twitter has made it more difficult to view posts and it may be they're getting ready to switch to subscribers only, which I think would pretty much put an end to them.
Twitter was brilliant in it's initial roll out...
...and you described that perfectly...
...God only knows how much data they gleaned from all those clicks from "anonymous" lemmings...
...twitter knows it's days are numbered with "TrumpChat" on the horizon...
...I believe that his entire "Presidency" was just marketing research for this happen...
...Trump will write off his stay in the White House, and the revenue he "lost" playing "leader of the free world", as a business expense....
"...I believe that his entire "Presidency" was just marketing research for this happen..."
Well, that's a new twist on the xD chess gambit. You may be right, and it may help to explain some of the anomalies throughout his Presidency.
Stick with me on this one kid...
...Trump learned quite a lot from that little detour he took into "Pro Wrestling" and his buddy Vince McMahon....
good, doggo
...the "anomalies" where just trial balloons to test public opinion...
...and he is continuing that research even as I type this....
