They've been trying to convince us for 2 years we would all die from our selfishness. Congrats on still being here. I dont know about all of you, but currently, 7 immediate and extended family members all have symptomatic covid. All are vaxed, 6 fully boosted. My wife and I are just sitting around similing. Knock on wood, but neither of us have been sick in close to 2 years.

I'm not vaxxed and will not be. Though I started getting sick Tuesday. Was tested Friday morning and got the results yesterday; covid positive. It isn't bad at all, a cold with some muscle aches. I started taking Ivermectin immediately (Wednesday). I'm pretty much over it cept for a sniffle here and there. I also have coworkers who are all fully vaxxed and boosted who also came down with it. Makes me wonder what they really gained playing Russian roulette with an experimental drug.
Can you please tell me why you got tested? I'm genuinely curious.
Because my work requires it. I'm one of the fortunate ones in that my work in IT can be performed remotely but I have to have accompanying documentation to support being remote.
Thank you for clarifying. I live near SA and I cannot believe the amount of people clamoring for tests. It's a definite change from what I saw 2 months ago. Happy New Year!
I think most of it is unwarranted fear. One of my coworkers told me earlier that he was in line for 2.5 hours to get a test. I asked if he had any symptoms and he said no, just wanted to be cautious. Wonder if he heard my eye roll? 😒
