I checked the los angeles area myself and it's true. Maybe one theatre with regular bookings but the rest are BLANK except for "355" and some foreign animation movie

Chain multiplex theater here in eastern NC has movies scheduled every single day up to Jan. 19.

There's no conspiracy in this case.
