The cashier at my Palm Desert Trader Joe’s told me yesterday that the reason they don’t have any popcorn popped in olive oil is cuz “supply chain shortages with boats in the harbor”. She literally said that. My husband said “your popcorn comes from China?”

She stared at him in silent confusion.
