It could be amazing technology. But like they stated in this video, it wouldn't make the shareholders happy. They need a service plan in order to make it viable.

Get her one of those pill containers with the days of the week with am & pm on them. She can fill it each week, that way she will know if she took her meds by looking in the container each day.
