So imagine you are someone of extreme power and influence, someone who lives a life that is as distant from the average western citizen as that citizen is from those scraping a living on rubbish heaps somewhere in the developing world. You know such people exist, and you know on some level that your present level of comfort is dependant on their labour. However, you are busy living your life and in general you don’t think about them at all, other than to occasionally remind yourself that you’re a good person by bemoaning their fate or maybe donating some time or money to a relevant charity. Now imagine that you start getting signals and messages from your similarly affluent associates that the system you benefit from so greatly is struggling and needs to change in order to survive. You have your “elite” version of dinner parties, cook outs, committees etc, and gradually over the course of many years, you realise that in order to sustain your position and lifestyle at the top of the pile, the only solution is a one world government run by people who share your priorities.
When you make decisions regarding those plans, you spend about as much time thinking about how it will affect Joe Bloggs (i.e., the average citizen) as Joe Bloggs does thinking about how his next sale or business deal affects the child on the rubbish heap. You literally never think through the chain of cause and effect to work out how your actions might be experienced by that child; you think through the consequences of your actions just far enough to work out if they’re likely to get you the outcome that you want.
Will this action help you get that new house? Will it secure your family’s farm? Will it get your kids into college? Will it pay for grandma’s surgery? Will it pay the mortgage/rent etc.
Ok, so back to someone I’ll call Mr Global (thanks Reiner Fullmich for the alias).
My Global wants his nice life to continue, and he wants to secure that nice life for his kids and future descendants. All his actions are focused on that, and it has become clear to him that given the unsustainable nature of current corruptions in resource distribution, one world government is the way to go. So he starts thinking through the problem, and starts working out what he needs to put in place to bring that about. He thinks about the conditions he needs to create to make that possible, and he thinks about the global situations he needs to influence in order to create those conditions.
Over the years and decades – will the help of others like him – he slowly manipulates all the key moving parts - media, government, regulatory agencies, finance, supply chain, voting, surveillance, tech – so that a system emerges that will seemingly of its own accord drive global events towards a place where one world government is seen as a necessary next step. He knows that many eggs will be broken in the making of this omelette, but that’s always the way when making an omelette, and great chefs don’t worry about how many eggs they are using.
So here we are, and Mr Global is riding high on top of a global interconnected system that is moving inevitably towards his goal of one world government. He has mechanisms in place to correct any upsets – people resign, die, lose elections, disappear, have changes of heart – whenever they stray too far from the required path. Media manipulates public opinion as necessary to allow necessary policy changes to occur. Everything has been thought of.
Except you.
My Global likes to think that he knows how you will react, and he likes to think that there are sufficient systems in place to control you when needed. But Mr Global underestimated you.
He underestimated your hunger for truth and integrity, and he underestimated the strength that gives you. He can’t predict you – at least, not fully enough to gain the level of control he needs. He can’t predict what set of data you’re going to analyse next, what software you’re going to develop, what issues you’re going to start studying, the letters you are going to write, what you’re going to build, the information you’re going to share, the committee you’re going to join, the non-compliance you are going to organise, which of your family and friends you’re going to start collaborating with, the way your God and your faith is going to sustain you and guide you. He can’t predict the connections you’re going to make or the solutions you will evolve to the traps he tries to set around you. There are simply too many of you, and you are focused in a way Mr Global can never be, because you are all focused on truth, wherever that might take you, and that means you have a connection to very other person on this planet who is seeking the same goal. The truth will set you free, and you want freedom above all, and so now Mr Global has got an impossible task: he has to stop the truth.
This is why you are personally so very important. Little old you, no-one significant, not on any podcasts or tv shows, nobody in particular. But you keep stepping back for a moment and thinking and praying and seeking out your next step. That next step that comes from what some think of as inner wisdom, others as the Spirit that guides them forward towards the truth.
But there are millions and millions, maybe even billions like you. People who want the truth, who are always trying, despite their flaws and the forces ranged against them, to move in the direction of truth and goodness.
So never give up pedes. You matter more than you can possibly know. You are the one thing they couldn’t predict and couldn’t plan for.
You matter more than you can possibly know. You are the one thing they couldn’t predict and couldn’t plan for.
This is so key. We have all been chosen by God for this time. He let us RISE up from the ashes so we can be the light for others. Each one of us is so very important and we are the people they fear, not because the power we wield as individuals but by the power of Christ within each of us that allows us to be individuals
