Ted Cruz's recent "coming out as a RINO party" was instructive. What did Q say? FOLLOW THE WIVES. Where does Ted's wife work? Goldman Sachs—the GOLD STANDARD when it comes to deep state flacks. What did we learn? There are no white hats/black hats in DC. THERE IS ONLY 'LEVERAGE.'

Not that this elderly granma's opinion matters much in the grand scheme of things - but consider my years of experience in sizing up men - disastrous choices can be very educational. You learn to look for the little things that seem insignificant, but that disclose character, values, and judgement.
Think back to the debate in 2016, when Carson didn't hear the call, and Cruz shoved him aside to "grab the stage". I watched his body language, and he lost me right there. I had been so excited about him until watching the disrespect he had for Carson in his body language at that moment, and then Trump came along, and respected Carson, waited, and did the right human thing - Trump got my vote right then and there, because he proved himself a true man of virtue, even though he doesn't "talk pretty" like Cruz.
My dad used to say, talk is cheap but it doesn't buy beer - I have never quite figured out what he meant, but is this close? I feel sorry for Cruz, for he seems to want something so badly that he has never thought about much but his ability to present a fantastic debate speech (which really impressed me, until the way I saw him behave in the primaries) - so he and Schumer are in the same category of politicians - all words, snake oil salesmen, and as P.T. Barnum once said....
