It is very unlikely that a plane would be turned around simply because the copilot didn't feel well. He had to have been incapacitated. When you declare an emergency and request an ambulance there is a serious medical issue, and while there is nothing to indicate it is heart related, that is the most likely scenario. These clot shots are putting everyone's safety at risk.

There was two other incidents with Westjet pilots becoming incapacitated during December as well…one happening on 15 Dec and the other was on 7 Dec
