Title mostly sums it up but seriously. This community I thought was pretty based and aware of the situation and lie that has taken over the world. But daily I see posts that you or someone you know got the flu, but are calling it Covid. You're spreading the lie more when you use that term, or even the rona, it is the flu unless you can prove otherwise, like with an antibody test. But these at home tests and crap they're using at the testing sites and Dr offices dont work, we know this!!! It is all for the $$$! So why run out and test, especially if you're asymptomatic? I never once tested for the flu when I got it years ago, I just knew I felt like death, had high fever, couldn't breathe, no taste, smell, and this was over 10 years ago. I didnt need a test to tell me to stay in bed, hydrate, take vitamins, and rest. Also editing to clear up that yes, covid exists, sars-cov2 is real but it is the flu! The flu has different strains every year this is a new strain from what we can tell.
Side note- especially if you have kids still in govt camps (also known as school) if you get tested and are positive your school will be notified. In SC, for example, you test positive your kids are out quarantined for 24 days, dhec is tracking every test and will notify the school nurse so there is no hiding it. Was the test worth it? You should've just stayed in your bed and treated accordingly how you would any other time you got sick. Obviously if breathing or something gets worse is when you go to a dr but common sense people! Sorry I'm ranting but it is everywhere. It's cold and flu season and people forget that cold and flu produce similar symptoms.... bc it is a strain of the flu!. If you want to go back to normal, stop using the hype words and bring the flu back.
Are you trying to say that Covid doesn't exist at all, and it's been the flu all along?
If yes, how do you explain so many people reporting a loss of taste and smell due to the virus? There has not been a flu until now with that effect. It's not due to a 'stuffy' nose or whatever either. I have personal experience with a friend who got it, and lost taste and smell for approx 3 days. How does this reconcile?
Ah makes sense, and totally fair to point out.
And tell me, who is it around here who is “obsessing with the testing”? I’m not running out and getting a test just because I have flu symptoms and my SIL is sick and HE tested positive in a self-test because he was required to for work. He’s also not based - got the jab because his work mandates it and to him it seemed easier just to comply. I’m not surprised he tested positive - he’s been injected with the variant (which is why I assume it’s called Omicron) and that’s what happens. Isn’t that what we’ve been saying all along? So if that’s true, then how can we say it doesn’t exist? You can’t have it both ways. We can’t just say, as the OP suggests, that all of this is a figment of our imagination. They caused it and they are taking full advantage of it, and isn’t it better if we expose that by calling out the fake narrative instead of “Stop talking about it”? Who does it benefit if we stop talking about it?
I’m confused by your comment because neither myself or the OP deny Covid exists. We are saying to stop running out and get tested for every little sniffle that furthers the narrative of increased false positive cases which ultimately gives them what they want. I see it here more than you think.
Without going back and reading through the whole entire thread again - if memory serves me, I think my main objection was the the OP was implying that all of US here were running out and getting tested for “the sniffles” and we were, therefore, furthering the COVID lie. My problem with the premise of “COVID is a lie or a hoax” is that it seems pretty apparent now that COVID was manufactured in and released from the Wuhan lab deliberately to create this plandemic. Many people have died - and more will die because of the push to jab with a poisoned depopulation dart. So I get that people are in fear - but I think most here are based enough to not go there. My family got sick over New Years. I was criticized here by some shill for saying it was “Omicron” even though that’s what they say is going around - but my family members did lose smell/taste, too - so there’s something different about this from a “normal” flu/cold. None of the family tested except my SIL - because he is required to produce a self-test before every work shift and the one he took in prep for going to work came back positive. I had symptoms, too, but I will never allow them to stick that swab up my nose! So I had a problem with the OP saying we were “all” running off getting tested for the sniffles. Hope that clears up any confusion.
I have the same question.
I experienced, for the first time ever, a loss of taste and smell for a month. My aunt lost hers and it never fully came back.
I've been a "COVID IS FAKE" person from the start but I moreso meant the numbers on TV are fudged, the pandemic is fake, the masks helping is fake, hospitalizations and deaths are fake...but there is something going around...it's just...not a big deal unless you're immunocompromised, malnourished or overweight (or all of the above).
I have a friend who still hasn't gotten their taste back, and for that I have no idea. I do know there are other viruses that cause lack of taste and smell, I've had it with bad sinus infections. I know there are antibody tests, so yes there is sars-cov2 going around. This is just the flu but a different strain. Coronavirus is nothing new,, they just gave it a new hip name to scare everyone calling it covid-19. Those who are vaxxed are the ones with covid and are spreading it bc they are making tons of spike proteins... that was the lab part of all this if I had to make an educated guess from all the reports and videos I've seen.
That's fair. Thanks for the response OP!
Yes, I agree. But this doesn’t justify you coming here and accusing all of us of running out and getting tested, and “spreading the lie”. If you think that’s what’s happening, better take another look. You haven’t been around very long - judging by your handshake.
I could just ignore you and not respond, but I will. Firstly, I never said "all of you", I made a generalized post so don't get your panties in a bunch. And this is my second account, my old was was attached to my old phone that was over a year old before this one, hence my screen name. Regardless, just because this account may be newish doesn't mean I was born yesterday. So fuck off
