Typically these fun number dates aren't set aside for things being discontinued...
I'm gonna miss my iPhone 5s.
They really were the last ones without the planned obsolescence installed on the OS.
I didn't use it much, pretty much only for calls and map directions, but it always seemed to work when I needed it to.
Screw Apple, screw 5G, and screw telephone carriers.

Any recommendations for something to replace it?
I don't want Apple or Android... So that doesn't leave me with many options, huh?
My phone's still hanging in there but I've been looking at something like the Wise Phone or the Light Phone. Using phones for endless browsing and gaming and all that is a massive waste of time and causes all sorts of mental issues, anxiety, you name it. Heard from people that these other type of phones give you the navigation and messaging but without any of the extra stuff. Just don't know how secure they are since it looks like they're still based on a custom Android image.
