I'll be following suit in less than two weeks. I'm prepared. My command stands beside my decision and thinks what's going on is wrong.... but yet no one will put their necks out. Sheep.
We all saw what happened to LtCol Scheller. They make an example out of anyone who sticks their neck out.
Scheller kissed the ring in the end. Made some anti-Trump comments to convince the tribunal he wasnt one of us or anything so they let him off light. Keeps talking like a rebel but he caved when it got hot for him. I compared him to Peter, denying Trump 3 times before the rooster crowed
I had a lot of Marines that told me "Hey buddy we are going to live vicariously through you!"
It really meant a lot because behind the scenes people really are cheering you on, regardless of the unpleasantness of dealing with it all. Like damn, I basically gotta stick it to them and that's hard. especially in an institution such as the military .
