All autoimmune diseases are based in INFLAMMATION. I have Hashimoto's, an autoimmune disease that attacks my thyroid. Sugar, flour, grains.... All bring on flare-ups, which consist of severe pain in my joints and muscles.

The Standard American Diet is truly S.A.D.
