Did anyone else happen to catch Watter's World last night(Saturday Jan. 8,2022)? I know! FFN, I was channel surfing and it popped up.
Any way, Watters had an epidemiologist on who says he has "proof" that Omicron came from a lab in South Africa, and the proof is in the DNA sequencing. Sadly I forgot to make note of the scientists name and have so far been unable to find the video posted anywhere. Any sauce would be greatly appreciated.
This must be the one, around 30 minutes in: https://rumble.com/vs8ss1-watters-world-010822.html
Yes!!!!! At the 28:42 mark to be exact. Thank You Fren!
Scientific information will change, please don't assume his words are gospel. That there are 30+ mutations on the spike protein doesn't prove it came from SA, it is just an indication that it may be lab-bred or lab-modified.
I recently saw an article (probably on ZeroHedge) that mentioned a paper talking about a couple of Omicron-positive cases from Holland that predated the SA outbreak. Again, that might change if someone else has a new paper. An outbreak can be initiated anywhere. Real facts and proofs? Be skeptical.
YOU watch the video and tell me what you hear and see. https://rumble.com/vs8ss1-watters-world-010822.html The segment starts at 28:42 if you want to skip the other chatter.
What lent credence to Omicron as a lab leak was Botwana's immediate identification and substantial South African research on Omicron's impact on immuno-compromised communities.
Botswana had detected an infection in four (4) vaccinated tourists from Europe. They checked all the persons they had contacted in Botswana and none tested positive. In other words, they brought the omicron variant to Botswana from where they came. I understand South African doctors were involved in the diagnosis.
This whole idea that omicron originated in Africa is a hoax. The travel ban was a dagger at the heart of their economies, because it would have soured the tourist season. Africans have been skeptical of the whole sales pitch about COVID-19. I also understand that South Africa had announced they were not going to purchase any more doses of vaccine just a day or so before the discovery of the omicron cases.
