I'm not claiming it is, or isn't, but hear me out here. Tobacco usage started tapering off, and all of the supposed "research" about it causing cancer began coming out roughly the same time Rockefeller took over the the medical industry and started pushing out established medicinal principles and knowledge. Fast forward a little bit, and Big Tobacco starts messing with the cigarette recipes to increase profit margins. They stopped using pure tobacco and started mixing it with various additives that today are known to cause cancer. This then spread to other "lesser" forms of tobacco. Chew, snuff, dip, etc.
The two outliers here, are Cigars and Pipes. Both tend to be "higher class/quality", rarely if ever have additives and have remained "pure". In doing so, several studies (Which you can easily find with a quick search), have shown that smoking up to two average sized cigars results in an absurdly small increase in chances of developing cancer of any kind.
On the other hand, nicotine, the main "ingredient" in tobacco products, actually has quite a few health benefits if used in moderation. Increased neural functions, improved memory, lowered chance of Dementia, increased blood flow (which promotes hair growth, muscle growth, etc.), etc. etc.
The point I'm trying to make here, is what if tobacco isn't bad for you in and of itself. Rather, it's all the crap the cabal companies stuff into their products to increase profits. If true, this is kind of like the soy thing. Pushing the populace into accepting some new "standard belief" that actually works against them and then engineering the results they want to "prove their point". Think about it? How often did you hear about tobacco linked cancer before the 40's and 50's? The Native Americans used tobacco in spiritual rituals for how many thousands of years with little to no negative side effects?
And then there's examples like Winston Churchill. Guys who chain smoked 10+ cigars a day, never had cancer, or so much as a cough, and lived into their 90s.
I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on this topic.
Everything burnt is carcinogenic, including food cooked on the grill. My Uncle got throat cancer from too many Joints, he never smoked tobacco, only weed. He smoked as much as IceT... But, I do agree tobacco has been vilified and lied about including recently...
Nicotine blocks the ACE2 receptors thus preventing cv19 spike protein from attaching. (probably other corona viruses as well) This was well known at the beginning of the pandemic that smokers were not getting infected at a higher rate like experts expected.
In fact the number of hospitalized smokers with c19 was so small that intelligent people started to look into why, while bureaucrats and media censored the truth of the findings. Nurses in NYC and other locations were using nicotine patches as prophylactic against c19.
you can find older studies if you search but the data has since been buried/censored and scrubbed from the web, replaced with untrue, damning, fake "science". Webmd had a good article on it in April 2020. It is archived on their site now. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20200430/smokers-hospitalized-less-often-for-covid-19
Smoking is also an anti-inflammatory and the NIH has studies showing it can be beneficial in some disease scenarios where inflammation is an issue.
I believe that the "second hand smoke" vilification was done to distract people from the real culprits, like the chemicals and pesticides used in out agriculture and packaging processes as well as industrial toxins many are exposed to every day. Even as MANY people have quit smoking and almost all businesses and public areas have banned smoking, the rates of illness they say are caused by "second hand smoke" has still increased year after year. I am not saying that no one has ever been injured by second hand smoke, I am sure a few have. It is being used as a scapegoat to steer people away from the real polluters, meanwhile government agencies and media are blowing smoke up everyone's A$$, with the second hand smoke issue.
The issue still with second hand smoke was the tar that got deposited everywhere, I had a used computer I salvaged that had been behind a bar (point of sale system) back when smoking was still allowed and that thing was sticky inside and out. I cleaned off the case with bleach and discovered it was actually white and not beige.
Yeah, those computers love to smoke though...
The fans pull the smoke right in there and the plastic has a static charge that pulls the smoke particles right to it.
That was t the issue. It was about a protest to see how well the sheep would turn on and harass a target. Testing the waters to gage if they could rally sheep against others. That was the entire end game..be divisional insight the sheep and see if they were ready for the real harassment.......like we see now. Nothing to do with health or tar or second hand smoke. Expand your thinking.
I've never had an issue with the canned spray foam (like Great Stuff) but if you meant the stuff you actually spray onto walls from pressurized cylinders you will mess up your lungs if you don't wear a respirator as there will be little particles of the foam in the air around you and you can imagine what that might do if you inhale it while it's in a semi-cured state.
As for burning Teflon cookware, that is a danger if done often enough especially for birds. As they have more sensitive lungs with more relative surface area per body size there is a reason you're told to not keep the bird cage in your kitchen if you use Teflon cookware or you're find out that "canary in a coal mine" has a real basis.
For every patient I have that’s a firefighter with CA, they have stories of many other firefighters they know or work with who also have some type of CA. One of them told me that they all blame their job exposure and think of it as a matter of “when they get CA”, not “if”. I dunno why but I always remember that particular patient, probably b/c it was a pretty depressing conversation and I never realized firefighting could be hazardous in other ways besides actually fighting fire. There are so many things that we’re exposed to daily that cause CA, it’s amazing that anyone’s body is ever able to fight it off at all.
Dentists often die of lung issues due to the exposure of toxins in their job.
Never have root canal. Causes heart attacks. Cardiologists know. The nerve ending go all the way to the heart with as you say mold spores or whatever.
Not the weed...its from the aerosol in the can...like huffing.....also...alcohol is more damaging than weed.
Passive smoking study was fabricated so as to endorse a ban on public smoking.
That second hand smoke crap was a test to see how well the sheep responded to the call to bullying others.....testing the waters for what we see now. Rabid sheep piling on the rabbit.
