I like Esther Rolle. Something about her. The way Maude talks to her is some of the most condescending shit I have ever seen. Who does she think she is?

I loved the line at 20:40 where Esther (Florida Evans) says she’s had it with liberal white women. Although it’s immediately countered with “would you rather work for a bigot”...so those are the only choices?

How about everyone just acknowledge and respect the divine presence that’s in all of us? The programming is so retarded.
