How many times per day and for how many days?

First real post, First sticky. So I'm still figuring this out.. noting holes in my post and trying to fix it! Thank you!

I was prescribed, all once per day: Prophylaxis: 12mg - day 1, day 3, day 7, then weekly thereafter.

Theraputic: 12mg - per day for 5 days.

This dosage is consitant with my weight according to the chart I posted. My husband was prescribed 16mg in the same format as above. Also constant with his weight and the chart posted. I cross referenced other research and found this to remain consistent so I decided to share.

Many have weighed in regarding their experiences with increased dosing when sick. This is just our experience with the AFLD.
