I read a post somewhere basically going through the probabilities that all the list of mutations in omicron occurred normally and in nature. Basically not at all possible, the analogy given was one day seeing dogs that have evolved not just wings but hollow bones, feathers, protective eye layers, a tail that serves a rudder and all the other flight appendages, spontaneously and overnight.

So while it apparently is a certain thing its yet another lab-generated organism, we dont know if it was by blackhats, whitehats, some other party, or what their intent and motivations for the changed virus are.

Being milder than the already mild corona makes omicron a yawnfest.. which lends itself to the whitehat origin theory more so than the blackhat one.
