Yeah, I think so. But they may be opening themselves to a big liability. This will make more companies balk on it for sure.

Yes but could workers start saying they don’t like any requirement for a job? Like you need to lift fifty pounds well now a person can sue saying they can’t do that any longer so they can sue if they get let go for not being able to lift boxes.
That’s why I’m wondering if they will take away a right for an employer to decide work requirements.
A person should be required to be able to lift 50 pound boxes as a qualification for the position if it is needed to accomplish the job. What that person does to meet the qualification should be his own choice, as long as he can lift the 50 pound boxes.
Job requirements are currently a land mine for companies. I wouldn’t be surprised either way I guess.
