Faith is a gift from God. Philippians. Also Romans 9 and John Chapter 6. That is how we are saved. You either belong to God or you don't. Belief in the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, doesn't solely rely on investigation. You can show someone the book of Daniel was written before the existence of Rome and they will just say "that proves time travel, not God".
