Right before the news of the pandemic undoing the world, a barn owl in winter feathers crashed into a car on my street. Exactly 7 days later, I witnessed a gorgeous bald Eagle fly down the street as I was driving. It was flying towards me. I was a bit startled. I slowed down as it swooped up to perch in a giant oak directly overhead.
