...I actually had to go through with a glaucoma treatment that involved just that...

...a nurse held my head and read the syringe as the doctor steadied the apparatus with two hands and withdrew the fluid out of my eye...

...the needle was the thickness of a "hair", but when it approached my eye, it looked like a broom handle...
